Dominion on Queen
(Nightlife - Pub)
500 Queen St E
Toronto ON M5A 1T7
416-368-6893
Description:
DOWNTOWN. A bar with history! Dominion on Queen was originally opened as a hotel and brewery. Over a century later, the place is still operational, although these days it functions as a bar and restaurant, but the award winning brews are still on tap. The classy, wood-paneled atmosphere is enhanced by live jazz and blues several nights a week.

Peel Pub
(Nightlife - Pub)
1660 O'Connor Dr
Toronto ON M4A 1W4
416-750-7335
Description:
DOWNTOWN. The Peel Pub is known as THE place to cheer on the Maple Leafs. The spacious pub (seats about 430 sports fans) has different spaces for dancing, shooting pool and just watching the game there are numerous TVs throughout. DJs spin an eclectic mix most nights of the week. Food and beer are affordable, tasty and plentiful, and while students find it particularly appealing, the crowd is quite diverse.

Smokeless Joe's
(Nightlife - Pub)
125 John St
Toronto ON M5E 1B5
416-728-4503
Description:
DOWNTOWN. Don't be fooled by Smokeless Joe's diminutive size the basement pub packs a wallop! Toronto's lengthiest beer menu is here, and it's more than 250 brands strong. The staff is incredibly well educated and can answer virtually any of your beer-related questions. The space, despite its size, is comfortable, although during peak times you will be rubbing elbows (and other body parts, probably) with your neighbors; out on the patio you at least have the open air over your head, if you tend toward claustrophobia. The food is simple but very well prepared pub grub. Overall, an excellent stop for any lover of fine malt beverages.
